OUR STORY

In 2010, we were working at a well known blogging network.

A handful of brands wanting to “become publishers” approached us to work with our authors.

Some of these bloggers, based on their reputations and traffic, expected more pay.

We had an idea: we could pay the difference based on the audiences the authors moved to their content.

Some interesting things happened: the content quality improved dramatically; and our authors made almost twice as much money per article than they had asked for…

AND

The content outperformed content from other sources by as much as five times.

The author channel was born.

In January 2011, we took our small handful of clients and launched Movable Media.
